The Ocho is an 8 Hour Race held at Panther Creek State Park in Morristown, TN, and will include Solo, Duo, and Team categories.

This is one of the many East TN races we like to do and a great way to kick off the MB race season.  We have traditionally raced at Panther Creek in the Solo category.  It is difficult for us old fat guys to get in many laps when we team up and the race is less than 12 hours.  When racing as a team we race under the name Sin City Geezers. 

This is a race where it pays to show up early as the good spots (if you want shade) go fast.  If you don’t intend to get to the race a few hours early then make sure you bring a canopy.  The race changes from year to year but you can expect around 10 miles per lap.  The route has a good mix of easy to ride to some more technical features (Rock Garden).  There will be plenty of hills but none so steep that an average rider can’t climb. Expect the best value in the southeast with awesome swag, great racing, tasty beer, post-race meal and much more!  The real key here is the post race tasty beer.  Last race it was tasty and there was plenty of it.
